The course will cover:

Devising techniques from around the world
Improvisation
Composition
Generation of material
Generation of text
The role of the audience
Ensemble & individual performance

The techniques taught have been learned & developed from my extensive devising work in the UK & with practitioners from around the world & from my training at Dartington College of Arts. (The only drama school in the UK that specialises in training in devising and creating new theatre)

I also work as a regular deviser/director at The Belgrade Theatre Coventry & I run a selection of other courses at The Blue Orange Theatre such as:

AUDITIONING
INTRO TO ACTING
CHARACTER CREATION & DEVELOPMENT

The final session will be the week beginning 10th Dec

Sessions are £10 each for a 12 week course starting Monday, 24 September 2012. (deposit of £20 in advance is required to secure place on course) With balance due week 3.
